Funerals, Memorials & Celebrations of Life

Comforting, honest, moving, respectful – together we’ll create a personalized ceremony that honors your loved one and meets your needs.

As a seasoned Funeral Celebrant, I officiate memorials, funerals, and celebration of life ceremonies with sensitivity and gentle authority. I have extensive experience responding to death at all ages – anticipated deaths, planned deaths, deaths that come suddenly through illness, accident, overdose, or suicide.

Whether an intimate gathering or a large celebration of life ceremony, I will help you tell the story of your loved one’s life through select music, readings, and rituals that reflect their values and personality, woven into a powerful whole.

It’s never too late to commemorate a loved one. When my dad died, there was no funeral. Six months later I organized a backyard ceremony to mark this rite of passage. After ten years, I wrote the eulogy he’d never had.

Celebrations of life can even take place before death – a living funeral enables you to say goodbye in community with your loved ones.

Sometimes no single ceremony meets every need – we can work together on a series of rituals over time.

“You took a stressful time and helped us pull it off. Everyone said Dad’s memorial was perfect. I awoke the next morning relieved and proud. Thank you for all the care and love you put into Dad’s eulogy, and for the insights and assistance you provided us all.”
